MICHIGAN WETLAND MAPPING

GSS provided FWS Region 3 wetland updates for the lower half of Michigan. Over 200 Michigan quadrangles were updated using 1997 false color infrared ortho imagery. Once completed Michigan DNR contracted with GSS to perform a simple wetland trend analysis between the original 1983 data and the updated information.
